The Mountain Center’s Counseling Services: Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Regular Outpatient Program (ROP)
Our outpatient program combines the Seven Challenges Program for adolescent substance abuse with the Mountain Center’s Experiential Adventure and Community Based Resiliency Model. The Seven Challenges model is evidenced based, developmentally appropriate, and trauma informed. After an intake and clinical assessment youth will be appropriately placed in either our IOP or ROP.
Adolescent Outpatient programming will meet multiple times per week for group therapy. Individual and family counseling will also be provided based upon the clinical needs assessment. Monthly therapeutic adventure programming will be included in the IOP and ROP program for youth and their families. The duration of Outpatient Programming is approximately 30 weeks.
All clinical services are conducted by licensed mental health providers.
We accept Medicaid from Blue Cross Blue Shield, Molina, Presbyterian Healthcare Services, and United Optum Health Insurance.
The Mountain Center’s adolescent outpatient services are approved by the Medicaid Assistance Division of the Human Services Department, and Children, Youth, and Families Department (CYFD).
